Almost half a century ago I took up the writing racket. My first professional gig was in a Toronto radio station newsroom. The owner's near bankruptcy caused a move to writing and editing for a print magazine publisher. I'm still doing that today but I now own the magazine that's only available online today. This has led me into digital journalism as a way of keeping myself out of trouble and ensuring my brain doesn't turn to mush before its time.
