I live in an apartment so I have a small balcony that can be great on a warm summer's day where I can sit and enjoy my flowers. However, what to do about storage? I don't want to have to lug garden tools and soil up from the storage locker I have in the basement.
The solution: a garden storage bench. Not only does it give me some extra seating but it is great to hold soil, tools and pots. The ones made of all-weather resin work best because they don't leak and I can leave it out all year around.
If you have a larger patio or deck there are benches for two people to sit comfortably. Benches made of wood will probably need to have some sort of covering to protect it from the weather. Wood, even when treated can easily fade in the sun and warp in wet weather.
Whatever garden bench you choose, I'm sure you will be happy to have the extra seating and storage.

What a great idea! Haven't come across the storage benches before
I like the sound of these. Anywhere that I can quickly hide my clutter would be good.
Good idea! We have some garden chairs but nowhere to put all the stuff. I'm definitely interested in getting one of these.
