Green Pots and Pans

This set is made of aluminum, with enamel on the outside, and a water based nonstick coating called hydrolon on the inside. Hydrolon is free of PFOA. The lids are made of glass.

Here's what you get: three skillets (8 inch, 9.5 inch and 11 inch), two covered saucepans (1 quart and 2 quarts), a 5 quart dutch oven, a collapable steamer and two bamboo utensils. The cookware is safe in the oven to 350F. 

This eco friendly set has a ceramica-based nonstick coating that is PTFE/PFOA-free and petroleum-free. The pan itself is made of hard anodized aluminum that has high heat conductivity and thus helps you use less energy when cooking.

Here is what you get: an eight inch skillet, two covered saucepans (1 quart and 2.5 quarts), a 3 quart covered saute pan, a 6 quart saucepot, and a stainless steel pasta insert. 

This pan is by Ozeri, and has a ceramic coating called Greblon, which is 100% PTFE  and PFOA free and is also scratch resistant.

The pan itself is made of heavy gauge aluminum, with a heat resistant silicon handle.

They do other colors if you don't like green!

This set is safe to a whopping 850F. Made of hard anodized aluminum, they are coated on the inside with thermolon nonstick technology, which is PFOA and PTFE free. 

You get two frying pans (10 inch and 12 inch), two covered saucepans (two quarts and three quarts), an 8 quart covered stockpot and a 10 inch covered skillet. 

Dutch Ovens are the ultimate in green cooking - made of durable cast-iron, they last for decades. They are also encased in porcelain enamel that is completely safe, non-toxic and non-reactive. This is old school green cooking.

Of course the porcelain enamel is not quite as nonstick as the more modern materials - but if you take the trouble to add a little oil and make sure you heat the oven properly when cooking, you should have no trouble.
