Drawing And Sketching A Zombie Clown
Draw A Zombie Clown
Drawing a Zombie Clown is another fun drawing tutorial that will give you some ideas for you to draw your very own Zombie Clown as this tutorial was inspired by me re-watching the classic and original Day of the Dead and in between all the Zombies you see a Zombie Clown that really just made me chuckle, so in the spirit of what amused me I thought about drawing one step by step on video and actually drawing some Zombie Clown head variations to inspire you.
First of all I did a quick draft sketch of an idea and simply redrew that in the following two videos (There will be a third!) and you can see that quick sketch below before you watch the first video....

Zombie Sketching
Here now we can sketch a Zombie Clown based on the draft sketch I drew earlier and you'll see that it pretty much remains unchanged as a simple design and although there is more detail on the sketch the Clown Zombie looks more effective and I have given him a traffic light tie which was a spur of the moment design choice.
Once you have your pencil sketch of your Zombie Clown you can then move on to the inking stage of your drawing and improve it along the way.

Ink Your Zombie Clown
Zombie Clown Inking
Inking the Zombie Clown now just needs a quick approach and a decent ink pen. The price of the ink pen doesn't matter as I always use cheap black gel ink pens that are dispensable, so long as they are reliable or else they are no good. Quickly inking is my way of doing things, your inking process maybe more methodical and precise which you could take your time with, but I usually work best when I am inking fast to create a sense of energy within the drawing.
Once the inking is complete you will need to erase all of the original pencil lines underneath ready for coloring or just to tidy up the drawing.

Drawing Zombie Clown Heads
2 Zombie Head Variations
I drew a couple of Zombie clown head variations here and you can view them as a step by step how to if you like which will give you an idea of how they were drawn from scratch. The first one is a bit more detailed and I was eager to give him a disfigured mouth showing his teeth almost sticking out and the empty looking eyes make the Zombie look effectively like a Zombie with the classic round red nose which helps bring in the Clown character element.
The second one is a variation of the Clown in the videos above with the two bunches of daft Clown hair on the top of it's head and his tongue sticking out with some dribble on his chin.

Draw A Zombie Clown
The first paragraph to the first subheading, Drawing And Sketching A Zombie Clown Draw A Zombie Clown, accounts for a clown appearing in the original film version of Day of the Dead as inspiring this wizzley.
Might there be any other occupations from that film that may surface?
