Storing Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread is easy. You can buy Nutella in a jar with a screw top lid, or in single serving packs. It can stay on a shelf in your pantry or cupboard at room temperature for months unopened, and for weeks after opening.

The consistency of Nutella does not change over time. It stays consistently spreadable from the top of the jar until you use the very last bit on the bottom of the jar. Frankly, though, if you can keep it in the house open for more than a week, you should get an award. It is that good.

Using Nutella Chocolate Hazelnut Spread in Recipes

Nutella can be heated, as mentioned earlier, but I do not recommend doing more than just heating it enough to dribble or melt over another food, such as ice cream or pound cake. You could also melt it into coffee on a spoon like can do with chocolate.

I just take a spoon and eat it. Well not all of the time. Sometimes I take a store bought donut and slather some Nutella on the top. It is the perfect cure for a chocolate craving.
