Santa Baby Bibs

I love the sentiment of Santa Loves Me. It reminds me of all of the fun I had scurrying down the stairs on Christmas morning to see the Christmas tree and all of the presents that Santa brought while I slept. When we were really little my parents didn't put the tree up until after we went to sleep. I still don't see how they managed the logistics of moving the living room furniture, putting up and decorating the tree and bringing in all of the presents.

As we got older and figured out the truth about Santa, my parents relented and put up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend. While some of the magic was gone, it was fun for us to be able to help. No that all of us kids have our own homes and trees, we actually have to have a schedule, so we don't overlap and we can have lots of tree trimming parties.

My siblings and I are at the stage in our lives where there are lots of babies and toddlers, so Santa baby bibs are front and center this time of year. I don't know if drooling just runs in our family or if all babies are this messy. But baby bibs are a necessity and not a fashion statement.

Sometimes I find fantastic Santa baby bibs at local craft shows. It's so much fun finding unusual and one-of-a-kind gifts. But some days, I'm just too busy to take the afternoon to go browse through dozens of tents or visit hundreds of tables. So I then turn to ebay. You might be surprised at how many sewers, seamstresses, and crafters turn to ebay to sell their products. It's an easy way to browse lots of handmade items, have the convenience of online shopping, and support American small business.

In the Fall especially it's easy to find baby bibs that say I Love Santa or I (Heart) Santa. So don't worry if you've got gobs of cute little babies to buy for. You'll be able to find just the right one and find lots of different ones. So everybody can have their own unique style.

All little children love helping grownups. I remember thinking dusting the baseboards was the most fun ever. My Mom always harnessed that willingness to help to get the "low jobs" done. She said it was one of the perks to having me underfoot. I dusted underneath the tables and chairs as well. I never grew too tall, I'm just a little over 5 feet, so I still get the "low jobs." I'm quite the klutz and no one wants me on a ladder.  It's fun for little kids to wear clothing that says Santa's Little Helpers. With this emblazoned on baby bibs, even they tiniest can get into the elfin spirit.
