Toy helicopters have long been topping the list of must have toys for kids young and old alike. The fun shared between kids and adults around the holidays is a priceless memory. The biggest issue with most toy helicopters is one the cost and two they just don't work well. The Syma you see below has 3 channels moving the chopper; up, down, left, right, forward, and backward. The really cool feature is it has 2 frequencies you can select allowing you to fly up to 2 helicopters at one time.

The Syma Toy Helicopter Review
The best features about the Syma toy chopper is how much you get for 30 dollars, it's amazing.
The most important thing to me as a Mom is the learning curve, it's easy for first time users to figure out in no time. This eliminates any frustration with the younger kids eager to fly it on their own.
The remote has two joysticks with the left one moving it up and down plus controls the speed of the chopper blades. This makes it lift higher or hoover lower which ever you choose.
The right joy stick moves up and down forward and reverse with the left/right making the helicopter spin round and round. Moving the right stick diagonally makes the turns while moving either backward or forward. The turns are always a big hit.
Fun Remote Helicopter for Kids
This helicopter is worry free, works great, is durable enough for the holidays and doesn't worry you over the cost.
My two kids love flying choppers around the house with their cousins during the holidays. Last year I bought 2 very similar to these at Macy's and paid $160.00 for both. I won't do that again. I do love watching the kids have a ball flying them in the large playroom. It's become one of the traditions of our holiday. If the weather is nice they go outside. But once inside again they can't keep their hands off them.
Just above you'll see a full set of replacement parts for this helicopter including main blades, tail decorations, tail props, balance bar for only $2,98 This is well worth the money to insure the fun doesn't end.

Syma The Best Toy Helicopter
katiem2, Two of my favorite transportation-related pictures are one of Shirley Temple in a child-sized automobile between scenes and one with Alexander George's article (which I reviewed on Wizzley) about flying cars. Car and helicopter toys work for all ages, as fun and as inspiration.
Brenda, A great bonding moment, make sure you get pictures of them playing together. :)
I was thinking of getting one of these for my son, so he could play with my grandson.
Miaden, Great to hear from you :)
QuantumLouie, I agree and I too know many adults who enjoy playing with remote helicopter, especially during the holiday season, give them the chance to reflect back to their childhood and relax playing as if they were again. :)
I've got one helicopter toy for my BD long time ago. I still find myself playing with it. :)
These are great for grown ups as well as for the kids. If you have a son, toy helicopter is an excellent choice.
Looking at this one, and it looks so great. I can only imagine how fun would it be to play with it.
I have seen these flying in the mall. They look fun even for a grown up. I have a friend who bought one when he was 29 years old. I don't judge him because I have felt tempted to buy R/C cars and other similar stuff like model rockets. If only I could find model rockets or those 9.6V Turbo R/c cars from Tyco...
I used to have a lot of fun with them when I was a kid. I think they make great toys at any age. :-)
Toy helicopters and plans are fun for all ages.
Mira, That's a great idea. :)
I remember these helicopter toys. Every child loves them! Now, these helicopters with a remote are a whole new game! They would make great Christmas gifts.
