Hobbit Party Supplies

There are many unique ways you can decorate your Hobbit themed party room.

Since there has not been any officially licensed Hobbit partyware released yet, I would suggest incorporating the main color scheme of the movie into your party decor.   After doing some searching, the colors I found to work best for this party theme are chocolate brown, gold and moss green.  You can view this partyware below. Mix and match all of the colors to create a great look for your party room.

There are also many wonderful decoration ideas including Hobbit cardboard standups .  In addition to a great party decoration, these standups can double as a photo op for the party guests.  The standup decorations available include Bilbo Baggins, Kili the Dwarf, Dwarfs Group ~ Nori, Dori and Ori, Thorin Okenshield, Gloin the Dwarf, Elrond, Gandalf and Galadriel.   Each life size party decoration is almost 60" tall.

There are many wonderful cake and cupcake supplies already on the market for your Hobbit birthday party.

The first item is the Hobbit cupcake rings pictured here.   These cupcake rings are sold in sets of 12 and feature many of the popular Hobbit characters including Gandalf, Kili, Gloin the Dwarf, Bilbo Baggins and Thorin.  They have a beautiful gold trim.

You can also purchase the Hobbit edible cake images.   These edible images are available for sheet cakes, cupcakes and round cakes.  There are also edible image prints that you can use to decorate the outside of your round cake.   The edible cake images featured below can be personalized with a name and age.

There is a Hobbit Cake Kit which comes with three characters and a Hobbit hole background scene.   There are Hobbit Movie figures that would also look great on top of your birthday cake.

Another idea would be to make your own Hobbit paper cupcake toppers.   To make your paper cupcake toppers, you can purchase Hobbit bottle cap images on Ebay,  matte them onto cardstock and punch out with a circle paper punch.  Then, attach a lollipop stick or toothpick and insert into your frosted cupcakes.

You can make square cupcake toppers by purchasing square Hobbit stickers, matting them onto cardstock and punching out with a decorative square punch.  *Party Note:  These Hobbit stickers can also be used to create party favor tags.  Matte them to cardstock, cut them out and then punch a hole on top.   Write a thank you note on the back and attach them to your party favor bags with ribbon.

You could also purchase gold gift bags, party bags or Chinese take out boxes and attach these Hobbit movie stickers to the front to create a theme favor bag for your party.  Then embellish your party favor bags with green, brown and gold curling ribbon and attach a thank you card.
