ToonTown Gags: The Weapons Of ToonTown

Toon-Up gags are the healing gags of ToonTown Online. They have medium accuracy (but still heal if they miss) and can heal single or multiple allies. Due to there great healing abilities Toon-Up gags are a must have for all boss battles in ToonTown.

Toon-Up Gags cannot be used to heal yourself and you do not earn skill points for healing Toons with full laff points.

Trap gags have perfect accuracy but require that Cogs be lured by a Lure gag first. These gags are unlocked after Minnie's Melodyland and are only capable of targeting a single Cog at once (apart from the level 7 Gag, Railroad).

Trap gags offer great damage with perfect accuracy making them very deadly but when playing alone they take two turns to setup.

Lure gags have very low accuracy and do not deal any damage. They are mainly used to lure Cogs forward so that they can be hit by Trap gags. Lure gags are limited to targeting single Cogs except for the level 7 gag.

Lure gags also stun a Cog for several rounds and potentially increase the damage they will receive  from other gags. Be careful though because Drop gags will miss lured Cogs and Sound gags can wake up Cogs from being stunned.

Sound gags are often considered the 'standard' ToonTown gags as they have a high rate of accuracy and have the ability to damage multiple Cogs, making them very reliable (which offsets their low damage output).

When in a party you should be careful of when you use Sound gags as they can wake up Cogs that have been lured and potentially ruin Trap gags from your allies.

While it may take you a while to level up your Sound gags due to their low damage output they are definitely worth your time and training points.

Throw gags are another gag that is commonly used in ToonTown. They have decent accuracy but can only attack single Cogs. Players of ToonTown unlock their first Throw gag during the ToonTutorial.

The only real limitation of Throw gags is the limited carry capacity available.

Squirt has always been one of my favourite ToonTown gag tracks. It is considered to be another standard track just like Throw with its high accuracy and reasonable levels of damage (although it is only single Cog orientated).

Squirt gags are also very cheap, costing very few jellybeans, with their only weakness being group battles.

Drop gags can be used after players complete Donald's Dock. While they can deal large amounts of damage they have horrible accuracy. The final level gag of the Drop track is my favourite of all gags and calls a massive ship (Toontanic) onto enemies.

Drop gags are unique in that they start at their maximum damage level and do not require to be trained up like other gags.
