Unique Florida Gators Christmas Tree Ornaments for Fans who Have Everything

by AbbyFitz

Your love of the Gators doesn't end when the season's over. Why not add a little orange and blue to your Christmas tree this year with these exclusive UF ornaments?

Here in the Gator Nation, Christmas has a different look than it does in the rest of the world, and it's not because there's a lack of snow.

No Gator fan wants to ruin their Christmas by seeing Bulldog red and Tulane green all over their home. Nothing says Happy Holidays more than looking at your Christmas tree and seeing the orange and blue twinkle back at you.

Luckily, there's plenty of University of Florida Christmas decorations here to make the season bright.

Whether you're a UF fan or someone on your Christmas list is a diehard Gator, these team spirit ornaments are the perfect way to say go Gators!

University of Florida Gators Baby's First Christmas Ornament

Personalize it by adding your baby's name or leave it plain. Either way it's the cutest ornament ever.

Start your baby's first Christmas off right with this officially licensed ornament from the Bradford Exchange.

Here in Gator Country, the love of the orange and blue begins at birth. This little bundle of joy is the cutest fan I've seen in a while.

Tucked inside the helmet is the Gators' newest fan. And it's easy to make this ornament a personal keepsake, because included with each purchase is a kit to add your baby's name.

At 2 1/4 x 3 inches, it's a good-sized decoration, but not heavy enough to droop the branches of your Christmas tree.

He/she will be a treasured ornament for years to come.

University of Florida Winter-themed Ornaments

Umm...it's never exactly a winter wonderland here in Florida, but these snowy Gator ornaments will look great on your tree anyway.

You know, last time I checked, it doesn't really snow much in Florida. In fact, the closest thing we get to snow here is a glass of ice water, so it surprised me to see so many Gator snow-themed ornaments.

Hey, I'm not getting technical here, just saying.

It's a little bit of winter mixed with a little bit of swamp. Nothing tacky here, though. These ornaments tastefully meld the holiday spirit with your team spirit in a fun and festive way.

Orange and Blue Sleds and Toboggans

As a Floridian, one thing I have always wanted to do is sled down a snowy hill with powdery snow flying behind me. And while that won't be happening anytime soon, I can at least dream I'm flying down the hill in style on these Gator sleds.

No worries about broken ornaments here. Made from resin, these hand painted ornaments are perfect for those of us with accident prone tendencies.

Sold in a pack of 4.

LED Gator Snowmen

As a Gator, it's important to let your team spirit shine bright, even during the holidays. This trio of LED lit snowmen really let the love of your favorite team radiate from within.

Literally.

Small children are attracted to shiny things just like moths are to a flame. It's an inevitable attraction. When my son was small, I'd hang the shiny, breakable ornaments on the higher limbs to keep both him and my decorations safe.

These adorable snowmen may twinkle enticingly on your tree, but feel free to hang them anywhere because they're made from durable, non-breakable resin.

Each snowman is 3 1/2 inches high, and is sold in a set of three.

Florida Gators Zombie Christmas Ornament

Hey, even the undead love football.

You don't let something like death stop you from being a Gator fan, and that's why this zombie ornament is the perfect gift for the undead in your life.

He's reaching out to grab a brain or two. But don't worry, he only eats Georgia Bulldog brains.

Hmm...maybe he's a good gift to send to those stubborn Georgia fans you know?

Your zombie Gator is guaranteed to survive the apocalypse. He's four inches high, made from durable resin, and is officially licensed by the NCAA.

Personalized Gator Ornaments Available from Zazzle

It's easy to make your Gator love all your own.

Looking for an ornament that doesn't look like every other fan's? Well, the simple solution is to just make your own. Zazzle has made personalizing any ornament simple and hassle free.

These ornaments are one of a kind to begin with, but you also have the option of adding additional text or images to create a truly unique ornament.

Alternatively, you could use them to take your love of the University of Florida on the road. These ornaments would make great rear view mirror ornaments for yourself or to give as gifts.

So keep calm and Gator on over to Zazzle and create your one-of-a-kind decoration before the Christmas rush.

All three ornaments are roughly 2 x 2 inches.

Christmas in Gator Country

I'm dreaming of an orange and blue Christmas.

Here in Florida, we don't have the white Christmas everyone else in the rest of the country experiences. That hasn't stopped us from creating our own version of what the holidays should look like, though.

To a member of the Gator Nation, it's being surrounded by friends and family, looking across the living room at the orange and blue tree, and watching the little Gators rip into their presents.

It's not exactly a Norman Rockwell painting, but it's still a picture perfect scene right here in the Swamp.
