What is Joint Juice?

by Roohi

Joint Juice is a dietary supplement meant for relieving pain and stiffness in people with osteoarthritis. But does it really work? Find out right here.

A dietary supplement, Joint Juice, was developed by Dr. Kevin Stone, an orthopedic surgeon. It was originally developed for pro athletes. The makers claim that the supplement improves joint function and flexibility in healthy people and relieves the pain and stiffness in those with osteoarthritis. As the name suggests, it is a juice-based dietary supplement. Let's take a look at the ingredients of joint juice and find out about how effective it really is.

What are the ingredients of Joint Juice?

Joint Juice contains 1500 mg of glucosamine HCl along with vitamin C, chondroitin sulfate, vitamin D and green tea extract. While glucosamine is mostly taken from shellfish, this is not the case with Joint Juice. The glucosamine in this joint supplement is vegetable-based.

Splenda sweetener is used in the juice which keeps the calorie count low. So, you don't get more than 25 calories per 8 ounces. The juice is available in different flavors including lemon, cranberry pomegranate, and blueberry acai. This liquid dietary supplement is slightly carbonated as well.

Does Joint Juice Work?

The makers of this liquid dietary supplement for joint health claim that you will be able to notice a difference in the pain and stiffness within 14 days.

The glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate have been found to be effective in relieving pain and stiffness, typical of arthritis. Combinations of these two components are widely sold around the world for relief in arthritis pain and stiffness. For people who do not like taking these two joint healthy supplements in pill form, Joint Juice is definitely a boon.

Besides this, the green tea extract works as an antioxidant, thus, preventing the damage caused by free radicals. Vitamins C and D are also believed to improve the health of the cartilages and ligaments.

So, overall, joint juice may help in improving joint function and health. Relief in pain and stiffness and an improvement in flexibility and health of the joints can be expected with regular use of the product.

Does Joint Juice have any side-effects?

As mentioned above, the main ingredient of Joint Juice is glucosamine. So, any side-effects caused will be because of the presence of this active ingredient. These side-effects may include intestinal gas, nausea, heartburn, and indigestion.

Make sure to consult a physician if you are diabetic, pregnant or breastfeeding since glucosamine in Joint Juice may lead to health issues.

Should you try Joint Juice or not?

Joint Juice has not been evaluated as a drug for arthritis by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). However, if you read the customer reviews for this product, it does seem to have benefited quite a few people.

The fact that Joint Juice does contain two of the most effective ingredients for joint health cannot be ignored. People have been popping glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate in pill form for a quite few years now and have obtained good results. So, this liquid dietary supplement may be an alternative for these pills.

However, like any other dietary supplement it may produce fantastic results or it may not have any effect. So, now that you know what is Joint Juice, what are its ingredients, and its possible side-effects, make sure to take a look at this product. It may be the answer to all your joint problems.
