Spa Treatments from Home – Cold Feet Remedy

Feet get cold and numb in the winter. Give them a spa treatment to invigorate and warm them.
Spa Treatment for Cold Feet
Feet can sometimes get cold and numb during the winter months. I have an old homemade recipe that will warm those piggies right up. It consists of taking a few ingredients including spices from around the house and using them to create a wonderful feeling of warmth for your feet.
This is a great spa treatment to do with your friends over the Holidays or just for fun during the cold winter months. Grab few hand towels, a foot tub, the ingredients below and get ready for a foot tingling experience.
A Little Information About The Ingredients
- Cayenne - Warms the feet. My grandmother used to tell me an old wives tale about people sprinkling cayenne into their socks to warm their feet. She would laugh and say she was going to do this since her feet stayed cold all the time. Instead, she would mix up this concoction to warm her old tired feet.
- Cinnamon & Ginger – These both are circulation boosters. They will increase the flow of blood and relieve your numb feet.
- Oatmeal – Used for exfoliation and moisturizing.
- Olive Oil & Honey – Used for moisturizing
- Orange Essential Oils – Aromatherapy

Pamper Yourself with a Warming Spa Treatment
Do your feet feel warm, soft, and energized? It is amazing how this works. Put on a nice warm fuzzy pair of socks after your winter spa treatment to keep your piggies warm. My grandmother may have threatened to sprinkle cayenne in her socks. Instead, she would put on a pair of battery operated warming socks that another one of her grandchildren gave her for Christmas. I think the Cayenne would have been a little less crazy! Either way, she had the right idea with her Winter Spice Foot Mask.
Take the time to pamper yourself with this spa treatment at home and enjoy!

Katie - you are not the only one that wears holes in her socks! I love to wear thick socks around the house during the winter. This feels great to do just before you put on those big socks. Or even try some battery operated socks if you dare..LOL.
Awesome, I love it, I always have cold feet, I can't tell you how many holes I wear in my socks as I never take them off, I don't like slippers, I often wear really thick socks or double up on them. I wear holes in them because I like the really long ones, I constantly pull them up to my knees pulling them tight on my cold toes. Thanks for the fab spa treatment tip, love it!
