Fitting in When You Usually Don't

Anglesey: Wales' largest island
It is not for nothing that the first settlers called parts of the US east coast New England, and we can extend the comparison to Wales.

A Quiet Corner of Ireland
I think it was the explorer Bill Tilman who said that a true mountain man [or woman] sets his own goals and never tries to race or exceed his capacity. Thus a stroll taken in mindfulness and fully observing nature is a greater experience than an ...

NOT in love with Paris
We came away from Paris decidedly underwhelmed, with no desire to return, ever. So glad to encounter someone who wuoldn't think us nuts for saying so.

7 Things I Learned to Love from Mother
This is a nice tribute to a wonderful mother. You're right in stating that not everyone has a good mother, but perhaps we can be a good mother or father figure to a young person and perhaps make their life a little better.

Anglesey: Wales' largest island
What a beautiful place! It reminds me of photos I've seen of the east coast in the U.S. I've never visited that part of the country, but maybe someday......
