Medieval Handfasting Gowns for a Pagan Bride
Because I was trying to look like Morgan Le Fey. But more historian informed than New Age. LOL Though that was also hugely driven by the whole 'I wonder if I could really gain enough information to make this authentic' - another ancient quest ...

Movie Review of Carolina Skeletons (1991)
It is quite powerful. Some scenes stay with you, though it is of its time.

Jersey Devil: Duck, Dragon, Demon, Religious Politics, Unknown Beast, Bat or Owl?
He's in your 'hood? I'd love to hear more about the area. Jersey Devil aside, the Pine Barrens sound wonderful.

How do the British Make Tea? Absolutely Not Like You Think We Do
If you go for 'tea kettle', you can be a badger too. I read all about it in Liz Williams's books. Ember has managed to move into a British house with two British housemates who don't drink tea. We've equipped her for constant tea-making and ...

Gary Galka: From Electrical Engineer to Ghost-Hunter
To add to your first paragraph, I could add half a dozen from my own family too. As you said, it's incompatible with all of this that Heaven is elsewhere. Could this be why some Christians deny the supernatural? I hadn't heard of Odda until ...

St Tydecho Pilgrimage Sites in West Wales
Yes! And it was also the thing which I would have most liked to find out there, but none of the Medieval texts give us anything that could form a map. I know the vicinity, but not the rock itself.

Medieval Handfasting Gowns for a Pagan Bride
I am not into wedding dresses, for obvious reasons, but knowing that the style of religious robes tends to become fixed at some period in the past, why was the sixth century chosen as the model for the high priestess' robes?

Environmental Chefs Will Love This Compost Stew ABC Recipe Book
I am mad keen on recycling, and, as I am a gardener, compost is a key part of my strategy. I make garden compost in heaps/bins, and make kitchen compost from scraps, which I make in a plastic compost bin. Getting manure is not always easy, so ...
