We don't do Valentine's day, never have. My partner objects to arbitrary dates, and I think it's the worst possible night of the year to go out for a meal (have done it by accident when on business - not fun!) I tend to think of it as a bit of fun for kids really. My little boys will have lots of fun making heart shaped things.

This is so important. How you relate to your child's eating patterns at this age pretty much helps set up their relationship with food for the rest of their lives. Food is supposed to be eaten when hungry and too often too many people have lost that connection.
