I agree that we have to preserve history and learn from it! It is a great idea.

I didn't know about it until I read your post. So it is a great initiative which can be a great example for others to follow.

I tried the 'English UK' solution and my newsfeed is exactly the same with all the new changes. It changed nothing.

My news feed looks the same as always with a choice between top and recent - but I will save this article for when the horrible change does come my way.

Although I agree that keeping extra food around for emergencies is a good idea, nothing lasts forever, and doing this should keep you from throwing away overlooked food - the stuff that sits in the back of the cabinet that you will use "some day". Great article Jimmie!

I've always wished I knew enough about mushrooms to go out and collect the good ones. For now I must stick to store bought. The soup recipe sound delicious.

When travelling in Africa and Asia, I got to appreciate the squat toilets a lot. Much cleaner than others. Of course, for home I think the Rudy seat-tattoo would look good!

excellent suggestions!

wo knows maybe the two of you will make something together! too much fun!

thanks for sharing this special family.

You are right, we have to separate the weeds, but we can find really great pictures, at low costs to use in our sites, I buy photos mainly from iStockPhoto and some time from DreamsTime and I am comfortable with the quality of them. Sure I buy only what I like and have value for my niches.
And is a good idea to create a business out of selling quality photos.

Had totally forgotten how fun we had making these when I was a kid! Will show this page to my daughter when she comes home, she will love it!

Some dishes I knew about but much is new to me. Thanks for the education!

Our grandchildren enjoy DVDs in the car, and since they travel quite often, it is really a big help to the parents and other adults in the car. Our last trip to the beach with them we watched Sound of Music. By the time it was over, we had enjoyed singing along, re-watched and enjoyed that familiar movie again, and had a delightful trip!

Looks great, hubby always wants a German dish now and then. (he lived there for a short time) I esp. needed help with the sauce. I've resorted to using a pork gravy in the past, this will do MUCH better.
