One thing I don't like is that if I write a comment on a friend's wall, or comment on a post, I can no longer delete that from my wall, only "hide" it. I prefer the old delete as I prefer taking things down from my wall after a period of time. What gives with this change and how can I simply delete?

My language already was "English (UK)" (at least FB didn't randomly change that!). Not a solution, I'm afraid.

The reason English (UK) no longer reverts is because we in the UK have had this lame 'upgrade' foisted on us too.

2nd solution works for friends but not for likes. I've 'liked' a number of tv channels/shows to keep up with premier dates ect and I can't seem to find a way to get them on to a list.

The thing is, they should give us an easier option to choose what we want to see. If I knew how to create a facebook alternative, I'd create one and listen to what people hate about it and like about it and not make changes without surveying members.

@Jimmie - Always use a good mushroom guidebook, because it is sometimes quite difficult to see the differences between edible and poisonous ones.

#3 has become redundant - the roll out is going fast and unless you can hit a server that is still old, slim chance, there will be no change.

Solution #2 will only work till FB screws up again. This used to be a feature, I had it set up so that I could pull all my Game friends posts at once, Close Family, extended family, work and school acquaintances. They did away with that in the last incarnation of FB.
