The Charm of Older Churches
blackspanielgallery, Thank you for past versus present comparative histories and product lines. Are there problems with updating the older churches in Louisiana? I recall some old churches in France having collapsed segments from the vibrations ...

The Perils of Pollution
blackspanielgallery, Thank you for the product line that so supports your thought piece. Can the combination of experimental medicine and two surgeries eliminate the problem that the former alone does not suppress?

Further thought is that I do not believe this is restricted to Christians.

We are definitely not privy to the workings of the mind of God. Only faith gets us past the mystery.

Prayers Answered
This was a good Christian witness to the working of God in Christian lives. I think that the fact that God wants us to pray for ourselves and others means that intercessory prayer has a part in God's work..That is why I do it.. But we must ...

The Monk Who Went Missing
Good points, but my mistake was to assume that readers knew North East Scotland. The area around the monastery is a land of cultivated fields, woods and villages. It is not a land where there are crevasses, so it is not like the better known ...

The Monk Who Went Missing
You do not mention terrain. Could there have been a crevasse? Or, could wild beasts carried a body deep into a lair? Or, is there water? submerged bodies can become snagged beneath the water and not surface. Well, I suppose there are some ...

The Perils of Pollution
The fog should be more widespread if it were from humidity alone. The fact it is localized, and always in the same place, indicates some particulates present. Adjacent areas are actually more swampy, with more ground water.

The Perils of Pollution
At one school at which I taught we had a visit from the environmental health authorities who interviewed every child with asthma and plotted where they lived with the intention of determining whether or not certain factories in what was a ...

An Island Castle
Pam, Six family members still live on the mount, two parents and four children. As for flowers, Cornwall has the warmest climate in Britain, so there is room for tropical flowers. but that does not prevent storms. When I was last there in a ...

Veronica, your son David was lucky in seeing dolphins, for I did not see them in the channel between the land and the mount. I have seen them at other times.

Sorry Pam, I am having difficulty adding a map. All I can do is suggest that you find Marazion on the map of Cornwall. It is off the shore of Marazion, which is on the South coast not far east of Landsend. The Wizzley map function seems to be ...

Dolphins? I'd have never thought that. I wish Frank would add a map so I can picture where this place is. Okay, I looked it up. I'd love to visit. When I win the lottery, the first place I'm going is the UK.

An Island Castle
My son and his family visited this place in May last year. His little children loved it. There are dolphins in the channel between the mainland and the island. I have never been to Cornwall and this lovely article has taken me there.
