I note the helmets on display in Cromwell's house.When I visit historic buildings I am never really interested in the weapons and armour on display, but the kitchens are far more to my liking. I am also fascinated by old libraries.

Did you know that the rule banning the English Christmas favourite, mince pies from being eaten at Christmas has never officially been repealed? Charles 11 overturned it but it was never actually repealed.
