Darkness over the Earth the skies darkened when Jesus was crucified

Thank you for your comment below in answer to my previous observation and question.

Couldn't we consider the sky darkening and then clearing as communicating in supernaturally symbolic images, in supernaturally imaged symbolism Jesus Christ asking, My God why hast Thou forsaken me?, and He and God answering, Into Thy hands I commend my spirit?

It's the beautiful comfort of Godly rainbows after unsettling storms and weather!

The Coming of the Cows: a Tirolean Tradition

I think that the difference in speling atose from the fact that Amer8cans went for a more rational system ofspelling than the traditonal British system. A new country thought that the traditional spelliingrules were anachronis58c and drop0ed some of them

Darkness over the Earth the skies darkened when Jesus was crucified

Thank you for such a Beswick-typical careful elucidation of the known facts.

It's inspiring to read this as I initiate what I always implement during the Lenten weeks: listening to the Bible in the languages that I know and, for a few years now, Be Thou My Vision dedicated to you and Maureen and your family and to Veronica and her husband and their family.

Why mightn't Someone for whom the world and its animal, phenomena, plant inhabitants mattered muster something such as a marvelous, miraculous supernatural event?

Thanks, Frank, fascinating topic. Believers always find a way to believe.

The Coming of the Cows: a Tirolean Tradition

Thank you for your comment in answer to my previous observation and question.

Goat cheese and milk are appreciated in the United States even as their coats and meat account for respective trends -- such as goat-hair jackets very attractive in their grayness -- and constancy.

A related question -- about goats -- that can be considered somewhat unrelated -- about spelling -- concerns why Unitedkingdomers and Unitedstatesians spell the word respectively grey and gray?

The Coming of the Cows: a Tirolean Tradition

Goats are not disliked, but they are more suited to dry conditions, such as those found in arid lands than sheep are, because wet conditions are bad for their feet. Goats are found in limestone country, such as the Great Orme in North Wales and in the Burren in Ireland, where the largest goat flock in the British Isles, is kept.

The Coming of the Cows: a Tirolean Tradition

Thank you for your comment below in answer to my previous observation and question.

Are goats not popular everywhere in the British Isles?

Is the afore-indicated dislike and unpopularity inherit in appearance, behavior, product (drinkable, edible, wearable, workable)?

The Coming of the Cows: a Tirolean Tradition

Possibly. Or it might reflect an established dislike of goats, which have never been popular in the brirtish ixles

Film Review of Little Miss Broadway: Shirley Temple Shines in 1938 Musical With George Murphy

The food found in art, films, music and publications appeals to me.

Shirley Temple had a film career as a child, a teen and a young lady.

Isn't it interesting to imagine the decorative and edible plants and the drinkable and the edible items in the afore-indicated film career?

Might there have been mainstays or might each age match something different?

Sounds like a family and friends special what with main age-groups -- apart Shirley Temple as grandmother or retiree -- there!

Book Review: Pearls of the Southern Skies by Dieter Willasch and Auke Slotegraaf

February 2026 invites those intent upon binocularly, telescopically, visually itinerating dark skies even as it invokes certain planetary itineraries over Hawaiian-archipelagic skies.

The planet Jupiter, as Ka'āwelo in Hawaiian, journeys beautifully near the sky center over the Hawaiian islands.

Might all these Jupiter-ian marvels that never manifested previously in our astronomical-observation meanderings make the gas giant matter even more to those managing dark-sky monitoring?

Black Ivory Coffee and Elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) at Chiang Saen in Northern Thailand

The computer crashed afore I could communicate another component of my observation and question below.

Elephant coffee conserves in its aroma such constituent contributions as chocolate, grass, malt, spice and tamarind.

Mightn't the afore-mentioned make a clothes-, room-freshening marvel during an elephant-coffee meal?
