Caterpillar manufactures some of the best machinery out there today. From construction equipment to engine generator sets and engines they are the best. Their name is second only to Coca Cola. I worked for a Caterpillar Dealer for seven years and I have to say that I was proud to work there. I felt like the Caterpillar name went a long way and they had the quality in their equipment to back it up. Caterpillar boots are no different than their machinery. I own a pair of CAT boots and have to say that they are very comfortable. They have lasted me 10 years now. I don't wear them every day now but there was a time when I would wear them multiple times per week when going out to a job site while working for CAT. They were waterproof and skid proof. I felt sure that my feet were protected while wearing CAT boots. All of our engine technicians wore Caterpillar boots and talked highly of them. CAT 2nd Shift 6” Plain Soft Toe and Steel Toe Boot
This boot has a Climasphere lining that helps to regulate temperature inside of the boot to keep your feet cool. It has a full leather upper with rubber soles. Hi Katie - CAT does have a good name. The boots are very well made and very comfortable for work boots. I used to have to wear mine 3 or 4 times a week when I was a project engineer for CAT and went on job sites. My feet were always warm and dry in the boots.
Nice work boots the caterpillar name is a good solid reliable product name.
