Chocolate Candy Cane Cupcakes
Chocolate Candy Cane Cupcake Ingredients:
- 5 squares Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1 package (3.9 ounces) chocolate pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of sour cream
- ½ cup oil
- ½ cup water
- 6 candy canes, crushed, divided
- 1 (8-ounce) tub Cool Whip Whipped topping, thawed
- 30 paper cupcake liners
- Cupcake pan
Chocolate Candy Cane Cupcake Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Chop 4 of the chocolate squares; set aside.
- Pour the cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, oil and water into a large bowl; beat with a mixer on low speed until moistened. Once it is moist, turn the mixer to medium speed and mix for 2 more minutes.
- Stir in the chopped chocolate squares and 2 tablespoons of the crushed candy canes.
- Place the paper cupcake liners in the cupcake pan; fill 3/4 of the way with the batter.
- Place the cupcakes in the oven; bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cupcake comes out clean.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven.
- Cool the candy cane cupcakes completely before frosting.
- Frost the cupcakes with the cool whip.
- Melt the remaining chocolate square: drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the cupcakes.
- Top with the remaining crushed candy canes.
Make 30 chocolate candy cane cupcakes. Enjoy!

Easy White Candy Cane Cupcakes
This recipe is easier than the one above. Both are delicious.
White Candy Candy Cupcake Ingredients:
- 1 package white cake mix
- 1 jar White frosting
- 6 Candy canes, crushed, divided
- Optional: Melted chocolate for drizzling over the cupcakes
- 30 paper cupcake liners
- Cupcake pan
White Candy Candy Cupcake Directions:
- Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the package.
- Stir 2 tablespoons of crushed candy canes into the cake batter.
- Fill the cupcake liners with the cake mix; bake according to the package.
- Cool the cupcakes completely.
- Frost the cupcakes with white (or chocolate) frosting.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over each cupcake.
- Top each cupcake with the remaining crushed candy canes.
Makes 30 candy cane cupcakes.
