In fairness to Mariah Carey, she tried to steal the spotlight by baring her leg prior to Angie. Unfortunately, she didn't get the same amount of attention as Angelina Jolie. It happened during the arrivals when the songstress was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest.

Rose McGowan is a beautiful and classy lady it makes you wonder why she wore that dress at the 1998 VMA's. Just look at that unnecessary skin. I'm guessing she wore this dress because she wanted to keep up with then-boyfriend Marilyn Manson.
