Dinette sets were very popular in the 50's, and 60's. Many people bought the entire dinette set together, table and chairs. If you are looking to recreate this dinette set look for your table and chairs, then you either need to buy authentic dinette sets from the era that you are recreating or create a dinette set look from brand new retro furniture.

For authentic vintage dinette sets, Ebay is your best bet to browse and shop. You can buy used furniture and have the seat and back cushions reupholstered for a fraction of the cost of buying new retro furniture, but while researching this topic, I realized that brand new retro furniture for kitchens is very affordable.
