Shakespearean Theme Décor
Having more than four hundred fifty years gone by since Shakespeare’s birth, and yet he is still celebrated, says much of his work. In those many years have been many enactments of many of his plays. Professional enactments require elaborate costumes, and scenes from many of those professional performances have been captured on prints that can be displayed upon a wall. Another version of Shakespearean art is a print or poster bearing a famous line from one of his many works. Still more art for the Shakespearean décor range is the reprinting of the handbills of plays put on by famous performing companies.

Thank you for your comment May 25, 2021, in answer to my previous, same-day observation and question.
Godparents have important roles in familial lives. It isn't just the spiritual imperative. It often may be a related or a related, but not related matter.
Family history offers third cousins as not so directly related that they obstruct marriage choices. For example, Queen Elizabeth II presented a third cousinship to Prince Philip. So English genealogists (who sustain kudos as the world's best, with the New York Public Library as second-best) said that the couple was (related but not) related.
Family was everything during Shakespearean times so why would it not work that William Smith wended his perhaps related but not related, third-cousinly way into godfathering William Shakespeare?
What I have found is william Smith mentioned in a book of Shakespeare's geneology. William Smith's father was John Smythe, which is where the name changed, and he was a High Sheriff, so apparently there was some connection to titles, and going back there are indeed titles associated with his ancestors.
blackspanielgallery, Thank you for practical informations, pretty pictures and product lines.
Do you know how it was that William Smith ended up as William Shakespeare's godfather? Perhaps there's a personal or professional connection between your ancestor and John Shakespeare or Mary Arden.
Thanks. I had no idea how many such prints there were until I looked.
A great way to spread the message to about William Shakespeare and his wonderful plays and poetry!
There are more scenes acailable, many on Zazzle and on Amazon.
What a great idea! I would love to have a few scenes from The Tempest on my walls.
