Disney Snowglobes and Water Globe Collectibles

The new hot favorite theme is of course, Frozen. If you are buying one of these keepsakes for a young child, getting one based on a movie they love is a great idea. Do be aware though that because this is such a hot topic, items are selling fast and it is pushing prices up and up. So although I'm listing a few here from Amazon, I also urge you to check out prices at your local Disney store too and elsewhere before making that purchase.

It's hard to believe that Mickey Mouse was created back in 1928 because he's still a much-loved character today. He's also the mascot for Walt, so if you're looking for this style of globe then you should definitely consider Mickey.

A Happy Birthday design is bright and fun. At 3.5 inches, it's a small piece of decor and decorated with balloons and a Happy Birthday scroll around the blue base.

How adorable is the Minnie and Mickey Wedding design. It's also a white gift box in faux leather which features two doves on the front. This is a charming and romantic keepsake perfect for weddings and also to celebrate an Anniversary too.

As a gift box, it would be wonderful to keep some precious little items in. When you shake it, you'll get a cascade of glitter - just like confetti on a wedding day!

I also love the romantic pairing designed by Jim Shore. Mickey and girlfriend Minnie are happily sharing a dance together. The base is in lilac and blue and decorated with some charming flowers. A neat little addition is the candy pink heart on top of the small globe.

Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore too! My Mom adores this lovable and huggable bear who adores his honey as well as all his cute friends. I'm more of an Eeyore fan because I'm a sucker for that sweet little sad face of his. This small keepsake is designed by Jim Shore. It features Pooh Bear tucking into one of his honey pots with a big smile on his face. It comes with a decorative base in lilac, blues and greens. Flakes of glitter swirl round when you shake him up!

Another small design is this really cute Eeyore one. The adorable and sad little donkey is sitting on a bed of sweet flowers and even has one in his mouth. I just love that expression on his little face. This globe is even nicer than the Winnie the Pooh one with a heart on top as well.

There are many Princesses such as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine and Belle. My daughter loves the fact that they all get that Happy Ever After at the end. Sleeping Beauty (or Briar Rose or even Aurora as she's also known) is my daughter's favorite. This Sleeping Beauty Snowglobe is just like a scene from the movie classic. Sleeping Beauty is sitting among her forest friends who she is talking to. One of the rabbits is encased in a globe and you will see a magical shower of sparkles surround him when you shake this delightful and unusual piece.

If you're looking for a Musical design which lights up, you'll love the charming castle which features all your favorite characters around the base. You don't need to shake this amazing globe - just plug it in with the included AC adapter or use 2 AA batteries if you prefer. Powering it up will provide magic right before your eyes with a castle that lights up, a 'flying' Tinkerbell fairy and moving glitter that swirls around. The castle is of a limited edition of just 2,500 pieces worldwide - so when it's gone, that's it. It's one of the finest versions I've seen.
