Royalton Bed and Breakfast in Vermont

by evelynsaenz

Vermont is a delightful place to stay for the weekend. Come stay at Evelyn's Bed and Breakfast in Royalton, Vermont.

Three years ago I began welcoming people into my home. I have a beautiful old Vermont farmhouse with an amazing history. There are incredible views of fields and forest from every room in the house. Each of the large rooms features a queen-sized bed.

Royalton is just over the New Hampshire border, the entryway to Vermont for travelers coming up from Boston on I-89. Staying in Royalton places you in Central Vermont where you can branch out to all other areas of interest. Visit antique shops, ski areas, or horse farms. Hike through the Green Mountains, swim in the lakes or go tubing down the river. Whatever you choose to do, Royalton Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place to stay.

Vermont is a Delightful Place to Visit. Centrally located, Royalton Bed and Breakfast is just 2 1/2 hours from Montreal, 3 hours from Boston and 5 hours from New York City. After a long week in the office, Royalton Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place to stay.

The large farmhouse was built by Daniel Rix in 1840 and added onto in 1860. There are incredible views from every room in the house. There are three bedrooms with two shared bathrooms. Situated on 130 acres, there are trails for hiking, fields full of wildflowers and a forest where you will bind a waterfall.

There are many attractions near my bed and breakfast that you will want to visit. Next door there is Standing Stone Perennials where you will find the most beautiful flowers. Perennials have the advantage of coming up every year. Just beyond is Hitching Post horse farm where riding lessons, a camp and shows are performed.

Just a few miles away you will find the Joseph Smith Memorial commemorating the birthplace of the founder of the Mormon Church. Over the hill you will find Woodstock and Quechee filled with unique antique shops, cafes and Mom and Pop stores.

The Vermont Law School is just 2 miles down the road where you will also find a co-op, bank, small restaurants and the green where band concerts are performed throughout the summer.

Just a bit farther you will find Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Hospital, the Montshire Museum, King Arthur Flour, The Justin Morgan Farm, Montpelier (Vermont's Capital), Killington Ski Area and much, much more.

When people think of a weekend away in Vermont, a lot of times they think of a cute Bed and Breakfast Inn. This one looks lovely.

Today it is pretty white out with all the snow but in a couple of months this place will be a delightful green. It would be wonderful to have you come up to Vermont one of these days. How about a break from Texas?

It must be so beautiful in Vermont. Hopefully one day I can see all that beautiful green (long-term drought in Texas). Lovely!
