Helping the Homeless for the Holidays?
I wrote this because a volunteer coordinator friend asked me to explain why it might be nicer if people committed to volunteer during the off-season rather than volunteering only at the winter holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) to her giant pack of holidays-only volunteers. After I wrote the letter for her, I thought, golly, lots of people could benefit from this information so I wrote it into an artcle. For some reason, I decided to put it up as my very first Wizzle.
