Hi,

This is my first attempt at an informational type of page on Wizzley.

Can someone please take a look and see if it's OK.

Thanks

Please stop asking for feedback on every new article of yours. Thanks.  Smile

I disagree. How do new Wizzley authors learn if they don't do just this? Some people are not used to writing online and want to get it right from the start. Sorry Cheffe, seems you got up on the wrong foot today! SY

PS Ton, no time to give a detailed feedback yet, but at first glance it seems fine to me, will get back to your articles if I have a spare moment - promised!

I disagree, Sam. New authors have plenty of on-site resources for learning the basics of writing on Wizzley. In this case, however, that is beside the point.

TonfaGuy is not a newbie. So, this is not about initial help, or some such things. And I didn't say anything about the first 4 times.

I want to avoid that one author monopolizes the feedback forum. Asking for feedback on each new article you write is simply not good form..

It is a fine article, here my suggestions to make it even better:

Move the module about HEX colors up. It should go before your first mentioning of them. Add a link to online resources where people can find the code and add perhaps even a link to a color picker tool like "DigitalColor Meter" which allows to pick any color from anywhere in your screen.

Re-do the sidebar. There should be, for SEO and reader benefit, only related articles in it. At the moment you just promote your other articles that have nothing to do with HTML. There are a lot of good HTML related articles available on Wizzley, like this one:

http://wizzley.com/wizzley-html-borders-and-backgrounds/

so you have some selection to choose from. Apart of this, fine article, as I said, will refer to it in future! SY

PS I would also add a warning that adding too much and too many effects may be NOT a good idea, remind people that also in design, less is often more ;-)
