Ad/content ratio

I know I read somewhere that you had to write a certain number of words for each amazon/ebay product featured.  I think it was a 400 word article is allowed 8 products and each additional product requires an additional 50 words of text.  Is this correct?  And where can I find this info in the TOS/FAQ.  Thanks!

We just want to avoid that our pages look like store fronts, catalog pages, or link directories, rather than attractive articles.
