FINALLY $$$

Well it's been 4 months, I churned away at the grindstone and got 72 wizzles published... but the money had yet to be seen (duh, like duh!)... but today I went through my once a week routine (why torture myself the rest of the week?) of opening every merchant/affiliate in a new tab, logging in and seeing if anything is ah happening...

Today, I got some nickles hitting the metal tin below the Wizzle slot machine :)

I can't post my adsense income but it started to see some dollars from wizzley... just a few but it's a start!

Amazon MADE A SALE! My actual first from Wizzley- a mini greenhouse for 35.00, my cut 1.40 SWEEEEET! (man I saw greenhouse and thought OMG, most of them are like 5k dollars, but I'll take the mini none the less!

Viglink is starting to kick down some dimes (literally), I made my second click income (eBay) of .22 cents

So my success is 4.72 but the even bigger success is that I now know that Everything is working (All posters is 0.00 but there are traffic clicks so that shows it's working)...

I know 5.00 is nothing to sneeze at, but as a precedence setter, it's EVERYTHING...

I love getting THIS excited over 5.00 (a bit less)! It's more exciting than later when the folding money comes in...

(btw I posted this fresh because the way wizzley's forum works is unless everyone clicked that box to subscribe to the thread, nobody will likely see new ones (i.e. like I do hitting "new topics" which won't show old threads with new posts unless your subscribed) so although the success thread is a good idea, it's hindered by the need to subscribe (which many forget to do)...

Have a great day everyone!

I know the money will pour in later, we've been there done that Ryan right? But nothing is more exciting than money trickling in for the first time and escalating slowly from there.

Congrats on your 7.00, I was super stoked to just get an amazon sale, that's where the real money comes in, the ebay clicks upset me because I know they made a lot more money than 10 cents and are now being stingy- should be 2 ebay SALES...  but owell, I'm not going to promote eBay other than viglink auto insertions...

I need to get on the ball, I'm only 27 wizzles from the big raise :) 60% of page loads!

Thanks Tolovaj, lobobrandon, and Cabmgmnt :)

I'm going to try to reach the target of 50 pages by the end of this week hopefully if all goes well and I get the time to write :) 100 to get the 60% is a long way away and I hope to reach there within the next 3 months. But, things will go slow once University resumes.

I'm not worrying about quantity at this point, I'm working on quality (because I could slam most of these up in a few months if I didn't format them, monetize them correctly, or optimize them (with lots of useful data which automates LSI term integration actually! that's why Google uses it as a measure of an articles usefulness/informative value and relevance).

If you put in the time to build them right now, you won't have to go back and mess with them ever again... just make sure you have stimulation modules in there (I need to go back and add them to 72 wizzles!) to keep them alive. I see the polls, comments box, RSS feeds, etc... as the "Lungs" of my articles. With them they breath on their own as people interact, without them, your article may go stale even if people show up... also they keep people on the page longer, as do videos...

I do, of course see when my numbers are up, (how many wizzles), and get excited when I'm close to a landmark number (i.e. 50, 100, 500). After selling that greenhouse I'm stoked to get the rest of those reviews up... there are a lot of types, brands, models, and versions (big, mini, small, modular) available- and it's a great product extraveganza... with so much to say about them ads naturally weave in and out of them seamlessly too... like (not sure whose) (?) article on bugs which inspired how I formatted the greenhouse. (whover that was that wrote the bug article kudos :)

Bedtime for me... it's likely noon where your at huh Lobobrandon? (1am here in Oregon/pacific)

Yup Jerrico it's 1:45pm here :) I'm writing series articles atm and then interlinking them at HP and Squidoo. I add videos later on usually on days when I'm not in the mood to write :)

I kinda miss the writing part, moving them over is a bit stale, although I do get to play with the paints :) I'm really overhauling a few of these (content) however :) ...

Ya I can imagine :) I'm planning on moving 3 of my hubs here and I don't feel like doing it. Took me a month to unpublish them (Did it today). Sent the link for removal using Webmaster Tools, but will wait a week or so then put them up after going through them and updating where necessary

Spend that week putting them here and building them (wallpaper, formatting, images, monetization etc...)... man I'm finding the hardest part of all of this is not writing, coming up with ideas, even formatting, it's Monetizing things... finding the perfect "blend in" product (like pepsi product placement on back to the future II LOL)... takes more thinking than writing the article! (cause I want to get it right and make it seem more like images than ads (but those looking to buy will see ads :)

...also

My Wizzley editor is in the twilight zone tonight... I click to add a text capsule or amazon module right... bam 3 pop in AT ONCE... then I add this one to the side of some text and here's where it gets "ghost story" like...

I put two of the amazon modules stacked on top of each other, I added 4-5 greenhouses from amazon and the images look perfect, the size and how they made everything glow :) but I realized I didn't need the second amazon module so I moved it down (from half size to full).

When I did that the images changed sizes and didn't match up with the text (big white space below the last one)... hmmm I thought, so I put it back (images grew back to cool like they were, so I thought ok I'll just add something to the bottom amazon, when I opened it it was a clone of the top one! inside I see the same products/images, but closing it shows an empty module...

Intrigued I decided to just delete it- but when I did it didn't disappear, the top one did! ahhhh all my products gone (and I closed the tabs already)...

So this second one was really a ghost, I couldn't get it to delete at all so I reloaded the page and it wasn't there upon the reload (nor was my other amazon module)....

I kept getting error tags at the top too, I kept refreshing the cache (shift+F5)... very strange... was like an intellectual confidence course- but I won in the end.. although I had to go find all the products again... I thought maybe Wizzley was on a blue screen strike again so I tried loading a new window and everything was working, just my wizzle being scary-izzle :)

J-

p.s. I didn't go to bed, had to polish off this wizzle haha...

Jerrico, you said that the second module had the products when you opened it up right? So when the first one deleted you should have just opened the second, clicked and opened all the products in new tabs. Then you should have reloaded the page :)

Yea, I thought that too but when I opened the second one after that one disappeared, it wouldn't even open- it just caused that "error" at the top of the page in what looks like an internet price tag lol... it was bizarre, there was nothing I could do, so I just stared again, I'm just very glad that was an amazon mod not a text mod that broke!

O.k. my greenhouse (rion prestige professional series) article is public, published, and I'll never get that 4 hours back :) but I think it came out lovely... and finally I'm off to bed...

Good luck with your articles Brandon, I just pray I don't have another full night session in dreamland where I build the coolest hippest, most earning-est, article ever only to wake up, not remember a word of it or what it was about, but still feel the emotion of hitting publish and watching it go live- in dreamland- sigh....

Haha :) I'm not writing at the moment, wrote one on HP and guess that's enough for today. Just testing something out so will wait and see what happens.
