Hi MBC Just go to the page you want to link to and copy the url. Then go to your Wizzle and use the link tool to add the url to the anchor text you want to use. Viglink then makes it an affiliate link. |

Here's our tutorial: Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

I opened a new account for Viglink to use with Wizzley. I am seeing clicks on the dashboard. My problem is that at the end of url, when text link is clicked on, I am not seeing the affiliate code such as viglink -20 Linda Smith

LInda, I am now very happily using Viglink here. But getting it correctly wired was challenging. You might want to contact customer service, just to make sure everything is working properly. Seeing the tag at the end of the URL is a good sign. So is seeing monetized clicks in your dashboard, not just clicks. The monetized ones have a green icon. Each channel in your account, when it's working, should show a green bar that says everything is wired and ready to earn. |

I don't understand what a channel is.
When I go to dashboard I see a green bar that tells me all is well. When I see number of monetized clicks, next to it is the revenue amount which is highlighted in green.
With my own account, I use the Viglink anywhere. This is the spot where you put the page you want readers to go to. You enter the page URL into a box, and then it turns into a HTML code, or Viglink will shorten the HTML code for you. I am not sure if we do this or not on Wizzley. If I copy page URL that I want readers to go to, and use that as text that is hyperlinked, the page comes up but I do not see a Viglink code that begins with Viglink and ends with -20, Linda Smith

Linda, if you see any activity in your Viglink account then it's a sign that the links are working just fine. However, if you are getting clicks for affiliate sites, but the circles on the report are not green (not monetized) then this would be a good time to contact customer support and ask. When you are referring to links "not ending in -20" can you please give an example of the link in question?

Nightowl: I left message with Viglink. I went back to their site for questions by others about this. Viglink recommended to set up a link for Amazon and see if Viglink-20 appeared. I dd this, and the Viglink-20 was there. I don't see it on any other links, but here is a text link I have used.

That example links to Sears. Only Amazon has the "xxx-20" affiliate tracking format. Sears has a different tracking format but it is clearly tagged with an affiliate ID. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

Okay, thanks everybody. Once I saw the Amazon affiliate code, then I figured the rest would have to be okay. Now I know all is well. Linda Smith

I received an email from Viglink i would like to share in response to affiliate codes not showing and wondering if account was set up correctly. This may help others as well. Response from NightOwl answered some of this. Thank you for reaching out. Yes, VigLink is operational on your Wizzley site since clicks are tracking on your Weekly Dashboard. Clicks would not be tracking if VigLink was not fully functional on your site. However, Wal-Mart is a whitelist-only merchant, as they must approve all new campaigns that want to affiliate with them through VigLink. I'm happy to report that your campaign has been approved for Wal-Mart affiliation, so your links should start affiliating shortly. I have found out that even though we have a Viglink account set up, it is not fully functional immediately. It has been 2 days for Amazon to show the Viglink-20 affiliate code. Walmart: Walmart and some others require that you are approved before you will receive any earnings from them, if you are approved, and there may be a delay before links are functional. Not all merchants require approval first. I believe you see a reference to restricted when you search for a merchant that requires approval first. Linda Smith

Ebay is another one that needs to be approved first according to email I just received. Linda Smith
