Congrats everyone on your achievements! On my side, my latest article is a few days old only and has almost 100 views! Thanks for everyone who contributed to this success. I think it is one of my most viral articles ever. |

I had a relatively big Amazon commission last night. It doubled all that I'd earned this month so far. Best of all, it stemmed from a Wizzle which had once been used as an example of how I write on the wrong subjects. My adviser was only trying to help, so there was nothing malicious there. But if I had followed that advice, then I'd have not only missed out on this order, but on several more too. The whole category has been one of my most lucrative ones to date!

Congratulations! That's great. I wish I could write about one subject long enough to write a book. |

Sam, your book looks fantastic! No wonder you've had so much success with it. I was just reading another article elsewhere about the Way. I've been curious about it since I visited Paris years ago and saw a youth group heading off from Notre Dame. I'd love to walk it one day. Dreams . . . Congrats, Abby! Talking about books, after an extremely frustrating couple of days, I've finally got a paperbook version of mine out! It's only on Createspace at the moment, but will be in the Amazon stores in about a week. Still, I'm calling that success. I worked too hard getting it there for it not to be. JoHarrington: 04/20/2013 - 06:29 AM It will be faster than a week, in my experience. People can already sign-up for it at Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Writers-Guide-Wizzley-living-writing/dp/1484088034/ SY |

JoHarrington: 05/28/2012 - 05:37 AM I need that article too, Jo! Thank you. Meantime my ebaying is going apace and after a fortnight I've sold two items with my maximum of eight more listed and waiting bids. I have watchers on most so there will be a sale/bidding war in a week's time. Meantime The Laptop (think Terry Pratchett's The Luggage...) has decided it doesn't like me and the 'i' key is on strike. Maybe I need to start focusing more on you and them than me and I? Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.
