Help me, please!

Adsense application rejected. Is there a problem with my application?

I did a search on the forums and I did not find anything that is of help.

According to the Wizzley FAQ, I should have at least 2 published articles before applying for an Adsense account. I published 3 to be on the safe side before posting my application today. I just got a rejection email from Google that states:

Page Type: In order to participate in Google AdSense, publishers' websites
and application information must satisfy the following guidelines:

- Your website must be your own top-level domain (www.example.com and not
www.example.com/mysite).
- You must provide accurate personal information with your application
that matches the information on your domain registration.
- Your website must contain substantial, original content.
- Your site must comply with Google AdSense program policies:
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies" which include Google's webmaster
quality guidelines:
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769#quality
.

If your site satisfies the above criteria in the future, please resubmit
your application and we'll review it as soon as possible

I know that I cannot fulfill the first guideline because as recommended by the Wizzley FAQ, I submitted my Profile page as the URL and that is not a top-level domain. The rest of the guidelines are subjective but I believe that my articles do meet them.

What can I do now? Do I resubmit my application?

Unfortunately, we have no influence over the Adsense approval process. Their policies and guidelines are beyond our control.

I would recommend you wait with reapplying until you do have your own website of top-level domain.

In the mean time, have a look at Chitika as an alternative program.

I presume then this is a new requirement from Google?

Does it matter if I use the Adsense account from another domain in Wizzley?

So you already do have an Adsense account? Google generally only allows one account per person, which might explain why they didn't grant you another one.

Adsense accounts are not tied to a single domain, so yes, you can use that account here. If you want to track your earnings and impressions for Wizzley separately then you need to set up a tracking channel on Adsense.

There are a number of articles on Wizzley that show you how to do that.

No, I don't but if that is something I'll keep in mind for the future. I'll look at Chitika for now. Thanks.

wow they didn't approve you for wizzley? They probably did make a chance, I signed up for HubPages and they approved me but it took them 30 days to do it. Just go out and buy a .com with your name, i.e. Wizzroy.com or yourname.com and throw some articles on there (quality, 500 words or more). Get 2-5 articles up there and apply after they've been there a few days.

A domain costs 8.00 at godaddy with a coupon code (google "coupon codes godaddy" with quotes) then it's just a matter of adding the pages. I'd install wordpress for this and just start populating the site with articles. Later after you're approved, you can remove the content you wrote, when it deindexes you can move it to wizzles.

Keep the site up though and have it redirect to wizzley- that's what I do (jerricousher.com)...  Another thing you may want to try is setting up an account with an established (wizzley is only a year old) site like Hubpages add some articles then try again... it's possible they are allowing hp as a viable domain to use (trusted, established, lots of authors) and they may not yet trust wizzley enough to consider it- Google is funny that way.

Hope this helps

If that fails, screw em, chikta actually is a formidable competitor to adsense and thus many feel it's just as good- I'd think they were just as good, just different.

This is the second such story that I've heard this week.  But the other person only had one article posted on Wizzley, so I thought that might have been the issue for her Adsense denial.

I also nudged her in the direction of Chitika.

@Jerrico That is exactly what I had in mind although I plan to run my own site for keeps. I used to run a few sites  many years ago building them from scratch using ASP (yes, it was that long ago) but I gave up due to lack of time. Nowadays it is much easier with WordPress so I guess I'll go that route.

Thanks for the great piece of info. How reliable is godaddy's hosting?

I absolutely love godaddy, but I've never used their hosting- I've heard some nightmare stories so my advice is to use gator host- their most expensive business account is only 15.00 a month and I've hosted up to 200 sites on one account without paying a dime more- they use virtual subdomains to host your other domains, you essentially have to set each one up by adding a virtual domain and attaching it, from there you get a folder on your server where you store all the domains files.\

As far as the outside world is concerned, it's on it's own hosting account, but it's segmented from your account. So long as you don't use up your space or bandwidth you can add as many domains as you like... for 15.00 a month- that's chump change .. I have sites with wordpress and static html sites, PHP sites etc... they are amazing... so between godaddy for the domains (best price on the web and reliable service) and gator host for the hosting, your all set.

I've used both for over 5 years with NO problems whatsoever- ever. I currently have 42 websites hosted on that account, they are all being migrated into wizzles too when I get the other 1k from HP over...
