Issue with messages in Firefox

I can see the title of the message in Firefox, but have to go to Internet Explorer (oh how I loathe thee) to read the contents. Also, as has been mentioned, I had to go to IE to make this thread because the submit button isn't working in Firefox. And I had to open the HTML module for this post and close it in order to get a blinking cursor here. No, that's not a substitute for a swear! I mean the capital "I"-looking thing that tells you the text box is active and you can type in it. (Yes, that's its proper name, according to a quick Google search. I must be sick because, in the process, I learned that the proper name for the capital "I" that comes up over text is called an I-bar. Eye-bar. The mental image of an eye hanging out at a barstool ordering a drink had me laughing a little too loudly for a sane person. :P)

Edited to add:Ok, messages is fixed after *really* clearing my Firefox cache. (Somehow I mixed up cookies with cache. I must be more hungry for food than money today. :P Oh how easily amused I am with jokes when I'm body-tired but brain-wide-awake.) The submit button on new topics is still broken though.

Have you cleared your browser cache and restarted your browser?

I think the difference has to do with new posts coming up in a new page all its own, whereas replies use a pop-up box. The pop-up works great. (Yay for writing this in my homey browser, Firefox! *hugs the fox mascot*) But the standalone page - not so much.

Perhaps Jo can help you better than I. I use Chrome on a MAC.

In general, everything should work fine. If not, most of the time it's a cache issue.

Looks like it's all sorted out now.   But yes, anyone with issues in Firefox, just leave a message here or PM me.  I'll see if I can sort it.

The first thing I'm going to say is to do this:

*  Close Firefox.

*  Wait for a minute or two.

*  Run CCleaner.

*  Check to see if your Wizzley world is happy and lovely.

If not, then come back to me and we'll see what we can do.  That works with other browsers too, in PC and  Mac.

Hi Jo, or anyone else who can help.

I've been trying to make a Forum post on Firefox, and I can't submit it.  I've cleaned the cache numerous times, and I downloaded CCache for Mac and ran that twice, and I still can't submit my post.

Any suggestions?   I'm using Chrome now.  I use Firefox because Chrome doesn't support my ergonomic mouse as well as Firefox does....otherwise I'd switch fully to Chrome.

(P.S.   I'm off to work soon, so may not read responses until later in the day...)

Yikes, I can't create a new topic in the forum in either Firefox or Chrome!!!  Yes, I've cleared cache, run CCleaner, multiple times.

And I can respond here, but not create my new post under a new topic.   Help!   I've spent 45 minutes trying to report what I think is a bug in the Flickr module and I can't ask about it under my own topic!

LOL   Anyone who's come to me now has the cleanest cache in cyberspace.   And it was the coding all along.  >.<

I'm really glad, because I was running out of ideas. :p
