I get so confused I'm almost in tears. I clicked on "here" and it eventually took me to Webmaster tools. I have an account but never really figured out what to do with it. I went to a tutorial that showed me a dashboard. I can't see anything like that dashboard. I can't find anything in google's help files.

There was nothing more to it than clicking "here" :P

Let's try it this way:

  1. Go to www.google.com

2. Enter "site:wizzley.com/what-is-html" - obviously change this for each article you wish to search for!

3. Hit enter!

It's as easy as 1-2-3! :)

OK. Whew. Thanks.

That brought it up. Is it just telling me that it is indexed?(What exactly is indexing anyway? Just that it is recognized by Google?) Sorry to be so dense. I need a good beginner's book on this stuff.

This is the easiest method to see if your page is accessible through Google and that's also a loose definition of indexing.

You can think of it in the same way you would think about an index in a book. If you're searching for something in the book and it's not in the index it's incredibly hard to find. Google's index functions in the same way though instead of a book you have the internet.

So, to the original question, how would you get UN-indexed?

Wakie wakie, fellow wizzlers! (By the way, is that the official term for us writers here at Wizzley?)

Thank you so much for the responses. But I still am confused about why Google de-indexed my pages. I'll read some articles, and I'll keep you guys updated. :)

They are indexed there is only one that is not indexed. Copy and paste the url directly into google's search bar and you will see. I checked your feed and the article that is not indexed is very new. Give it some time.

Well found 3 that are not indexed. Try interlinking your articles, bookmark them in google plus and go to ezine articles or go articles and post one unique article pointing to each one of them.

@QuantumLouie, thank you for checking. I also checked, and I found it weird that they're indexed again. Is that a bug or something?

Thanks, by the way for your suggestion. :)

How is it possible that you guys wrote in English and I didn't understand a word of what you said? Well, guess I'll just move on and pretend it isn't important for me. :)
