The last two wizzles I've tried to like haven't registered. Is there a temporary glitch this morning?

I've been able to 'like' pages on my iphone (after lots of presses!) but not on my PC which is very odd.

Comments are fine - Wizzley likes appear not to be.

I was having problems yesterday with this also -- I haven't tried today yet.

It seems to be working fine now.  With the exception of twitter, I share an article, see it on my twitter feed but the counter on the authors page I just tweeted remains the same.  The wizz button is working for me now.

It works, but not instantly. You'll have to reload the page to see the new count.

I have just had the same problem even after reloading.  It is not registering the Wizz like.

As usual, emptying the cache and then restarting the browser did the trick. I thought I'd done that, but with Chrome it takes several tries before it works.

I've been having the same problem, but thought it might be because I'm a newbie.  However after some investigation, I've found that the wizz like button does NOT work in Internet Explorer 9 whether I reload the cache or wait a few minutes.  It pretty much works instantaneously and perfectly in Firefox.

Janices7, you're right, I'm almost positive it has something to do with IE. I keep having to clear my cookies whenever I am using IE for the wizz like button to work, but I have no problems in Chrome or Mozilla.

Yeah, Chrome belongs to Google and they are reluctant to get data go ...

That explains it, I only use IE9 for Wizzley as I can't sign in via Chrome (I've never been able to and I'm not going to keep investigating it as there's two other sites which are the same - wierd!) so I have only been able to like articles very, very occasionally Frown.

Can people be banned from using the Wizzley like button?  I've just been messaged by someone who says that it's been down for them for the past fortnight.

It's working fine for me though.

Jo, ask them to restart their browser. If that doesn't work, they should empty their browser cache and then try again.

We don't ban anyone from using the "Like" button.

Or they are using Internet Explorer 9.....the wizz "like" button still doesn't work as of today which is a huge bummer (since I can't like any pages unless I manually open them in Mozilla/Firefox).  I almost exclusively use IE 9 and the wizz "like" doesn't work even when the cache is cleared or browser is restarted.

I'll ask Simon about the IE situation during our conference tomorrow.

Thanks chefkeem!  Since something like 30% of people still use IE,  hopefully it is something that is fixable.

Just wanted to say that the Wizzley like button now appears to be working in IE9
