Wizzley Weddings: A social focus experiment

Today I'd like to introduce our first social focus experiment: Wizzley Weddings.

What's a social focus experiment, you wonder? Well, I thought it might be worth a try to bundle interest on a specific Wizzley category and help it along with promotion on the various social venues. 

The wedding industry is huge, and I feel we're currently underutilizing the potential here on Wizzley. Considering the fact that we're heading into the wedding season I'd also like to drum up some support from our esteemed community (that means YOU).

If this is a topic that interests you, even if you've never considered yourself to be an expert on weddings per se, you're called upon to put your talent to work. I would also appreciate the help of volunteers to curate our Pinterest wedding boards, or offer any other kind of support you might be interested in.

Whatever is necessary and nobody else wants ;-) But if you do one about "Wedding Photography" that would be perfect for me. BTW Are these boards only meant to show case Wizzley articles or also other stuff we find useful? SY

I couldn't have laughed harder...choked on my adult beverage (it is 5 o'clock somewhere...HERE!).

Actually, if Jo took this on, it would be beautiful and awesome, as always...

I'm trying to think of how I can jump in...say something like..."RV GETTING MARRIED? YOU BET V ARE!" - RV wedding themes, I'm thinking, aren't really popular however....

I'll do wedding invitations using Zazzle designs as well as an article on romantic getaways in Europe :)

I've done quite a bit on weddings on other sites and as it looks like it's not Wizzley specific Pinterest boards I'd be happy to pin on wedding dresses, wedding paper and beach wedding inspiration.   I would also recommend setting up a wedding cake board and I'd love to pin onto that.

I haven't done many articles on Wizzley lately, but I can definitely look at adding wedding articles from March if that would help.   It certainly is a profitable niche to write in.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I'll be working some things into the Spring work plan. Thank you for this innovative idea.

I appreciate the feedback, ladies. For those who would like some pre-researched keyword ideas have a look in the keywords forum, where I just posted a big list of 3 word key phrases.

For those who want to help curating a Pinterest Board, I will try to add you to the boards that interest you. Thanks for letting me know. And no, those boards are by no means limited to Wizzley pages.

Absolutely, Brooke. 

My creative juices are starting to flow. I needed a little boost. It's been a cold and snowy winter here and I've been in a bit of a grey mood. Thinking about Spring and Weddings will be good for me. It'll also be good to be part of a community effort.

I love this idea.  My Zazzle income is almost completely wedding related and since I do a lot of blogging about weddings the articles here will be great to link to.

I would love to help with the Pinterest boards such as Beach weddings and wedding paper.  And thank you for that great keyword list!

I'd really like to write about honeymoons, I like writing about anything travel related.

Yay!  I get to amuse someone and I wasn't even here!  *happy dance*    You'd be even more amused if you'd been behind the scenes at some of the handfastings I've officiated at.   Stage fright doesn't quite cover it.

If you have a blog, you may also want to consider blogging about it. The more buzz we generate, the greater the exposure of your wedding articles. You may use any of the WW graphics I added to Wizzley Banners (remember, you can add your referral link), but if you need something else please don't hesitate to ask. I'll help best as I can.
