I am finding I am using a text module to introduce the links on the link list below. The text is brief, only a couple of sentences, so I am wondering if there was an option to add a text description to the link list, it would negate the need for additional text modules?

I don't really understand the need for this, AJ. We have title and subtitle fields to describe the list, and then a description box for each link. If you need more space for the list description, you can resize the modules and place a text module next to the list. Is that not sufficient? Just thinking it may be useful so as to not have to use the extra text module for what may be a small amount of text - wondered if it would help contribute towards keeping load speed down. |

I still don't get it why you would need so much extra space for a module description. Can you give us an example? Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

I think the issue is not that AJ needs *that* much space to justify an entire text module. Perhaps only one or two sentences. The thing I do to avoid having Title > Subtitle > Description > Yet Another Title > Yet Another Subtitle > Finally The Link List is to just leave title and subtitle of the link list module empty. I did the same thing. I understand what AJ means. Sometimes I want to write a few sentences as a lead-in. Just affords more flexibility, I think. Find me at Vikk Simmons On Squidoo and Online & Down the Writer's Path.

We have a fair chance to get this feature sometime soon. Though not crucial, it's certainly useful. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

I agree it is not crucial, but if a couple of lines of text in the Link Module itself, means that you do not have to have a text module for just a couple of lines AND it means helping maintain fast speed on the site then it will be worth it. This feature on its own is not enough to speed up the site but as we all know, lots of little things added together can make a difference |

We're working on it. Might take a couple of days since it requires some German wizardry. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.
