...said this writing-style analyzer, after pasted a few paragraphs of my Jaegerschnitzel recipe article into their window.

What's your style?

Just having fun with this....pasting text from various articles I've writtten. The last one says I write like Dan Brown. Oh, if only!

So is it a bad thing if I write like a different man every time I write something new? Forgive my warped humor for a moment, but....this reminds me of a scene from Titanic where Jack is teaching Rose how to spit like a man!

It told me that I write like Chuck Palahniuk. I'd never heard of him which doesn't bode well Surprised

Just glad that it wasn't Enid Blyton Wink

Just for kicks and giggles, I tried a couple other pieces, too.

One says that I write like Margaret Mitchell and the other says..Arthur Conan Doyle (Oh geeze! Don't I wish!)

Theresa...you crack me up! Spit like a man! I love paranormal stuff and Sci Fi....maybe you should right something in those genres...I would read 'em!

I've always thought that my writing style changes depending on the subject I'm writing about, so I put in four totally different pieces and I got -

William Shakespeare

JK Rowling

Chuck Palahniuk (I think he wrote the Fight Club??)

Cory Doctorow - never heard of him

I didn't expect to be quite so different  with them all , but a fun site.Laughing

That's too much fun!    the last one i put in, it said i write like James Joyce.

but every time I copy and paste a paragraph from somewhere, it tells me something different........so I must have a ton of voices!

LOL @Bev! Yes, watch for my future sci-fi best sellers novel.  Since I supposedly....WRITE LIKE A MAN....the main character ought to be a guy. That should challenge my writing skills!

I did that a while ago with one of my short stories and it said Margaret Atwood. Cool!
