Nobody experiences the miracle of Christmas quite the way a child does. All the anticipation and the heartfelt joy when Christmas morning finally arrives.

Ever since our boys were old enough to appreciate Father Christmas we have arranged for them to recieve a letter from Santa. It's such a lovely tradition and the letters make a great keepsake. They will give you and your children or grandchildren treasured memories that will last a lifetime.

How Does A Letter From Santa Work?

Over the last few years I've used various companies such as Santa Letters Online or, my particular favourite, Official North Pole Mail. They all work in very similar ways - it's just the packages on offer vary a bit. If you just want a straightforward letter then the latter offers a lovely letter - with a good array of designs to choose from - for $9.99.

Basically you can customize your letter in every way including the type of text and the background. Then you fill in the information that will make your letter unique and the good thing about this website is that you can see your letter being built which is good because you'll be able to see exactly how the letter will look before you order. Once that's done your letter will be mailed to the child and it will, of course, have the all important postmark from the North Pole.

Each letter is designed one at a time so the letters take about 2 business days to complete the design process and be sent to the USPS for shipping. It can be shipped via USPS First Class Mail or, if you are from outside the US, USPS First Class International Mail. Letters sent within the US usually take between two and ten days to arrive so the last date for orders is 10th of December. International orders can take up to three weeks so International orders must be placed before December 1st.
