The Lorax - The Original Story by Dr Seuss

This is the original Lorax story in which the wonderful Truffula tree forest, which is inhabited by Bar-ba-Loots and other wildlife, is logged by the Once-Ler in order to feed consumer society with the useless "Thneeds", until there is complete environmental destruction.

This is a fantastic cautionary tale which is brought to life with Dr Seuss's amusing rhyming text and colourful illustrations and was adapted into a digitally animated movie in 2012.

The Lorax Pop-Up Book

nickupton, Thank you for pictures, practicalities and products.
Can it be that two reasons for why I grew up to be an arborist are loving the city sunken gardens with their beautiful-bark sycamores and reading the Lorax books? An area library has the Lorax products you mention. It's impressive, particularly regarding the new-reader series.
