All Dr Seuss fans will know the story of the little orange hermit, The Lorax, who tries to save the Truffula forest.

However, most readers will not know about other books which feature the Lorax. These books include coloring books, introduction to reading, learning about environmental issues and even a Lorax pop up book.

Find out about these other books here.

The Lorax - The Original Story by Dr Seuss

This is the original Lorax story in which the wonderful Truffula tree forest, which is inhabited by Bar-ba-Loots and other wildlife, is logged by the Once-Ler in order to feed consumer society with the useless "Thneeds", until there is complete environmental destruction.

This is a fantastic cautionary tale which is brought to life with Dr Seuss's amusing rhyming text and colourful illustrations and was adapted into a digitally animated movie in 2012.

The Lorax Pop-Up Book

The original Lorax story with pop up illustrations to bring the story to life. This version of the book has fewer pages than the original but does contain the full story.

nickupton, Thank you for pictures, practicalities and products.
Can it be that two reasons for why I grew up to be an arborist are loving the city sunken gardens with their beautiful-bark sycamores and reading the Lorax books? An area library has the Lorax products you mention. It's impressive, particularly regarding the new-reader series.
