Nina Ricci Floral Perfumes for Women

Nina Ricci Perfumes were made up of three groups of fragrances which are referred to as notes: base notes, middle notes and top notes.

Base Notes - The main fragrance/s which is the base of the perfume and gives out the strongest scent that lasts the longest on the skin.

Middle Notes - The fragrance which is added to neutralize the overpowering scent of the base note. The scent does not last as long as the base note. Middle notes are sometimes referred to as ‘heart notes.’

Top Notes -The first fragrance we get as we spray the perfume into the air or on our skin. The scent only remains for a short while.

Nina Ricci’s L'Air du Printemps perfume is a newer version of the L’Air du Temps created by perfumer Olivier Cresp.

The sweet scented perfume which is available in 100 ml/3.3 oz and has a mixture of scents such as carnations, rose, jasmine, cedar, sandalwood, musk, rose and frangipani.

Base Notes: sandalwood, cedar, musk, powdery note

Middle Notes: carnation, rose, jasmine, orange blossom

Top Notes: citron tree, pear

Nina Ricci’s Premier Jour Perfume available in 100 ml/3.3 oz was launched in 2001 and was developed by Sophie Labbe and Carlos Benaim.

The perfume gives out a sweet floral fragrance of mandarin, sweet pea, vanilla and musk.

Nina Ricci’s Premier Jour Perfume is recommended as a daytime perfume.

Base notes: sandalwood, musk

Middle Notes: Orchid, vanilla

Top Notes: Mandarin, sweet pea

Nina Ricci’s L`Air du Temps Noel was launched in 2008 to commemorate the 60 year anniversary of Nina Ricci’s L'Air du Temps perfume. The fragrance is similar to that of the L'Air du Temps perfume but the bottle is in the color black with a topper designed with black doves.

Base notes: cedar, sandalwood, musk, amber, iris, vetiver, benzoin, moss and spices.

Middle Notes: rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, gardenia, carnation, rosemary, and orchid.

Top Notes: bergamot, rosewood, carnation, rose, peach, neroli and iris.

Nina Ricci’s L'Air du Temps Colombes Couleur was developed by perfumer Jean Guichard and launched in 2006.

Top notes: cyclamen, bergamot, lotus

Middle notes: lily, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley

Base notes: sandalwood, musk.

Nina Ricci’s Love in Paris Fleur de Pivoine is a newer version of the company’s classical perfume Love in Paris.

The fragrance given out is said to resemble the floral scents of spring time. Some of the fragrance notes in the perfume are: peony, mandarin, pink pepper, black currant, raspberry, rose, violet and patchouli.

Nina Ricci’s Love in Paris was launched in 2004 and developed by Aurelien Guichard. The perfume has a floral, spicy and slight fruity scent to it.

Fragrance notes found are rose, peony, bergamot, apricot, jasmine, musk, vanilla including woodsy notes.

Nina Ricci’s Fleur de Fleurs was introduced in the early 80’s (1982) and was a popular hit among perfume lovers who were avid users of floral fragrances.

Top notes: aldehydes, green notes, bergamot, lemon.

Middle notes: cyclamen, rosemary, magnolia, iris, lilac, jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang and lily-of-the-valley.

Base notes: sandalwood, musk, civet.

Nina Ricci’s Deci Dela was launched in 1994 and it was created by perfumer Jean Guichard. This perfume has a floral and fruity fragrance to it.

Top notes: apricot, raspberry, osmanthus, peach, boronia, red currant.

Middle notes: freesia, jasmine, sweet pea, rose.

Base notes: cypress, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla.

Nina Ricci’s Farouche is another floral perfume having hints of a fruity scent launched in 1973.

Top notes: aldehydes, mandarin orange, galbanum, peach, bergamot.

Middle notes: honeysuckle, carnation, iris, lily, clary sage, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, rose, geranium, cardamom.

Base notes are sandalwood, amber, musk, oak moss, vetiver.

Nina Ricci’s Capricci was introduced in 1961. This floral scented perfume was the creation of Francis Fabron.

Top note: bergamot.

Middle notes: rosemary, tuberose, gardenia, orris root, jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley, geranium, rose, narcissus.

Base notes: sandalwood, musk, benzoin, oak moss, vetiver.

Nina Ricci’s L’Air du Temps perfume was introduced in 1948 and was created by the perfumer Francis Fabron.

The perfume gives out a fragrance filled with the scent of carnations and traces of jasmine, rose, bergamot, cedar, rosewood, violet and iris. The crystal bottle comes with a beautiful designed stopper depicting two doves which gives it a unique and exquisite look.

Top notes: carnation, peach, neroli, bergamot and rosewood.

Middle notes: rosemary, carnation, gardenia, violet, orchid, cloves, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose.

Base notes: spices, iris, amber, sandalwood, amber, musk, benzoin, oak moss, vetiver and cedar.

Coeur Joie was the first perfume introduced by Nina Ricci. It was created by Germaine Cellier in 1946 and came in a heart shaped bottle which was designed by Marc Lalique. Today the bottle is also available in round canister in the form of Eau de Toilette.
