Nina Ricci’s brand of perfumes comes in a variety of fragrances which is one reason it's so popular throughout the world. The perfumes are also affordable.
The founders of Nina Ricci were Maria "Nina" Ricci and her son Robert Ricci. Initially the Nina Ricci company was a couture house concentrated on designing stunning gowns but in 1946 this all changed when Robert Ricci with the assistance of Germaine Cellier developed the company’s first perfume: Coeur Joie. Two years later the popular perfume L'Air du Temps was launched.
Robert paved the way for more varieties of perfumes to be created under the Nina Ricci name.
Maria Ricci passed away in 1970 and 18 years later in 1988 her son Robert too passed on.The Nina Ricci company was bought over by the Puig Group in 1998.
