One Direction Doll: A Review

When you first look at a One Direction doll, you will be amazed by the realism. Each doll looks just like the One Direction singer it was modeled after, the likeness is uncanny. The fine craftsmanship perfectly captures each singer’s facial features. Any serious fan will instantly recognize their favorite member.

Beside the quirky facial expressions and of course the boy band smirk, these collectable dolls are outfitted perfectly. Each figure is outfitted with the same wardrobe they wear when performing. They have a lifelike appearance due to the perfect detail of their clothing. Shoes, trousers, jackets, and shirts have been carefully recreated.

The uniqueness of each One Direction doll can be seen in the amount of detail that has gone into the making of the individual singer’s image. It is obvious that a great deal of time and effort has gone into making each figure as realistic as possible. Even the hairstyles of each singer, have been carefully molded to be accurate, this is a nice finishing touch.

The scale of these dolls is what allows them to look so good. Because they are 12” figures, there is plenty of room provided to create detailed facial features, giving them extra character. This also allows for the wardrobe to be tailored to each of the One Direction doll. Because they are so well made the appeal is not only to fans but to the serious collectors as well.  

The lack of accessories beyond clothing is the only real drawback to these figures. Depending on your budget price may also be a consideration. The cost of a single figure should not strain your funds, however if you or your child would like to have all five figures in the band the cost can add up quickly.
