Orbit Baby Stroller Travel System G2 Reviews

The Orbit Baby Stroller Travel System G2 is one of the most luxurious baby travel systems available. But is it worth the price?

Orbit Stroller Reviews

Best Stroller Travel System

There's no doubt about it, the Orbit Baby Stroller Travel System G2 is the new luxury stroller on the block. Not only does the Orbit G2 have extreme safety and functionality features, it automatically raises your Coolness Factor about 20 notches (which should just about offset the downgrade your CF (Coolness Factor) received when you bought that minivan!).

Reading through some of the reviews on Amazon, it seems as though other parents are just as excited over this stroller as me.

Orbit Stroller

Orbit G2

The Orbit stroller comes in three colors, ruby, black and mocha. I am prartial to the ruby myself. It's flashy, and suitable for a girl or a boy.

My favorite part of this travel system is the 360 degree turning feature. You can rotate your baby in any direction in the stroller or the carseat base, and it is simple to do too. This has come in handy when the baby is fussing and you can't reach over the carseat, just swivel him around, comfort him, and then swivel him back.

Now of course, you aren't going to want to do this while the vehicle is moving, as all infants under the age of 1 should be rear facing. But if you are sitting in the parking lot, it's a great time to let your baby see other views.

This is also great on walks in the stroller. You can adjust your baby to be looking right where you want him to look.

Orbit Infant System

The Orbit Infant System G2 stroller is the easiest I have come across to fold up as well as to unfold. So many other infant travel systems claim to be a one-handed closure, but in reality, they really do require two hands to get the job done. There is a smooth release mechanism in this stroller, and although the stroller is heavy, weighing in at twenty eight pounds, I can get it in and out of the van, with a baby in my other arm.

Orbit has gone above and beyond when it comes to safety features of the carseat. It has, according to Orbit "maximum side-impact protection" with a high grade foam surrounding the seat, as well as much higher sides than your normal car seat.

The carseat also has a UV protection sun shade that you can pull down over the seat to keep out harmful sunrays that could easily burn your baby's skin when you are outdoors.

This shade, I have found, is also effective at keeping out insects on hot, muggy summer days.
