Portable and Cheap Greenhouses for Weather Proof Gardening

by WriterArtist

Believe it or not, it might not be possible to harvest the yield without these beautiful and efficient greenhouses that function all year round.

Optimum Gardening season is way short all around the globe. Soon the spring and the much favoured summed season will end with the frost taking over. When you are shivering and seeking the warmth of your bonfire, the plants and trees need it too. Alas, the winter weather will cover the greenery with its white footprint, but the trees know how to survive.

Many trees will go through the quivering winter smoothly, they will shed their leaves in the fall and prepare themselves to brave the trembling, breezy climate and the snowfall. During the spring, you might feel you hardly have time to tend to other activities. There are the small plants ready for germination, the flower beds and soil to be prepared for the new saplings, the mulch to be made ready and the weeds to be taken off.

And if you have worked hard the previous season, the ripe yield to be harvested. Before you realize, however; the summer is gone. It is refurbished by the cold winter breeze. So, my friends, gardening season is a small vestige of the seasons that fall way too short if you love gardening throughout the year. That’s where the greenhouses come to rescue. Portable and cheap greenhouses give you the option of tending your garden in all the four seasons.

Cheap Greenhouses for all Weather

Cheap and affordable greenhouses are capable of giving a facelift to your nursery. These urban greenhouses cater to all weathers in realistic manner. They are also matter of fact, very feasible alternatives to the traditional garden in the open air susceptible to harsh weather and pests. A convenient way to produce and increase your harvest in all four seasons with the varieties I plenty. In fact it can turn your part-time hobby to a full-time gardening job.

An alternative choice and mode of farming, the greenhouses have been a perfect solution to many small and medium scale farmers, not to mention the big farmers too. They provide quality and fresh produce and are beneficial to health. Fresh herbs and vegetables that tastes better than the old stuff from the market. You can also store the surplus harvest in cold storage for next year or dry it and store in dehydrated form.

Portable Greenhouse in your Patio or Backyard

Why buy veggies, herbs and flowers from a mall which comes from far places when you can get the local produce right at your fingertips from the home garden?  Portable greenhouse shelves in 2 or 3 tiers can easily fit in a corner of your patio and backyard without asking for too much space. Many greenhouses come in strong frames with options of tray and containers that can neatly be arranged with a cover.

The cover helps retain solar energy to boost the plant growth in addition to saving it from snow and frost. Hence, even when the outside temperature is -4 degree Fahrenheit your plants can breathe easily in the warmth of the cover. The polypropylene covers that come with the greenhouses are extremely reliable, they won’t crack and tear easily in hot sun as well. Easy to install and dismantle; many greenhouses can be easily shifted in the garden. Position them for maximum growth. You can assemble them in simple steps with the instructions that are provided with the green house installation manual.

I had a portable greenhouse, but my allotment site was too windy for it and it was damaged beyond repair. I think that they can be used in winter only in sheltered conditions.

This is the time of year people start to think about gardening. I'm putting this on my Things You Really Need to Know board.

No, I don't have an easy time growing plants. But I always try. I'm going to pin this to my Wizzley Writing Board.

At the moment in the world we need as much growing food as possible, so portable greenhouses are a necessary thing.
