There are a lot of fundraising ideas out there. Unless you have a focused group that remembers where to go online to fundraise, it is hard to keep them motivated.
My favorite concept is restaurant fundraisers where a percentage of sales is given back to the non profit organization for driving customers to their store on a particular night. This type of fundraiser is focused on a single day and is easy to run.
This got me to thinking that there must be retail store fundraisers that do the same thing, and if there isn't, then maybe we can start a trend to bring the idea of the restaurant to retail POS stores.

This type of program I really like. The Food Lion MVP Program allows you to register your MVP card and tie it to a local organization. Food Lion will then donate a portion of every purchase you make to your local charity organization.
