Product Description: Sweetened dinner rolls from the King's Hawaiian brand, found in the bread section of many grocery stores. I purchased this product while shopping at Costco a couple weeks ago and ended up using the rolls a variety of different ways over the past couple of weeks, including as a dinner roll and for sandwiches.

Review
I've seen this product advertised on television quite a few times. However, even though I usually am entertained by the commercials, I never gave any serious consideration to purchasing the King's Hawaiian rolls because I thought they were too expensive and couldn't possibly be worth the extra money.
A couple weeks ago, my family and I were shopping at Costco and were able to find these rolls at a reasonable price. Since we were planning on having dinner at my parents' house and wanted to bring something with us, we decided to make the purchase.
As it turns out, we didn't take them to that dinner because they had already prepared other rolls. However, we did use them at home and, after trying them, I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations.

The thing that really impressed me about these rolls was the sweet taste they had. It was noticeable without being overpowering and it was a flavor everyone in the family enjoyed.
The sweeter taste also gave the rolls quite a bit more versatility than I was expecting them to have. In addition to using them as dinner rolls, for example, I used these to make "slider" sandwiches for my daughter's school lunches (I also used these rolls to make a couple sandwiches for myself) just to give her a little more variety.
One thing that really surprised me about this product was how long the rolls kept. When I normally buy something like this, I'm lucky if I have two or three days before the rolls start getting stale or, worse, moldy. And, I really was expecting that to be the case with this purchase too.
However, the rolls held up really well. Even after being in our pantry for a couple of weeks, they were still relatively fresh. This is something that did add some value to our purchase and, even without the sweeter taste, made the rolls worth spending a little extra on.

Final Opinion
I had my doubts, but these rolls lived up to the hype the television commercials gave them. I'm not sure if it will be a regular purchase for me (it will depend on my grocery budget) but, I wouldn't be opposed to buying them again.
