Product Description: Concord grape and raspberry fruit drink from the V8 brand advertising one serving of fruits and vegetable in each 8-ounce can. I purchased a 6-pack of these at one of our local grocery stores yesterday morning for $4.85 and have been drinking them at work for the past couple days instead of soda.

I decided to pick up a six-pack of this a couple days ago for work. Read to find out what I thought of it.
Review
I am a soda addict and, even though I pretty much gave up trying to kick that addiction completely, I have been trying to find ways to at least reduce how much of it I drink, especially when I'm at work.
As part of this, I have been trying a variety of other beverages that are better for me while still offering a decent taste. For the most part, my results have been a bit mixed. However, I recently decided to give V8 Fusion Concord Grape and Raspberry a try and do think I might have found an alternative I like.
Even though I have tried other products from this brand in the past, this was my first time trying this particular option. This is because, while I fully expected the V8 brand to live up to my expectations, I was honestly turned off a bit by the price. While $4.85 may not seem like a lot, it is roughly what I would pay for a 12-pack of soda and I'm only getting one-third of the quantity. In fact, the only reason I even tried it yesterday was I had a store gift card.
As far as taste goes, I can honestly say this product lived up to expectations. In fact, I think the Concord grape/raspberry combination works really well together. At first, I wasn't sure if that was going to be the case because it is a darker juice drink and darker juice drinks, at least from my experience, tend to be too sweet. But, this wasn't any sweeter than the soda I would normally drink.
I will also admit drinking this does give me a slight sense of accomplishment, knowing I'm drinking something I don't mind drinking and, at the same time, is actually better for me than soda is. Plus, one other thing I noticed is I seem to be a bit more satisfied thirst wise when I drink it. I'm not immediately craving something else to drink, as I often am when I drink soda.
I guess my only real complaint, again, has to be the price. While, knowing what I do now, the $4.85 doesn't really seem like all that much, the cans are, again, awfully small and I only get 6 of them in a pack (unless I purchase the product online, which I'm still undecided about). Even though, as I said, the drink does quench my thirst, I still can easily go through 3-4 of them in a day, meaning I would have to purchase more (and spend that much money) almost daily. I'm not sure if my budget could handle that.

Final Product
This is a good product and I definitely will purchase it again in the future. However, because of the price/small quantity, I don't think it is a product I'm going to be able to buy on a regular basis and will have to continue looking for another alternative while saving this for special occasions.

StevenHelmer, Thank you for practical information, pretty pictures and product lines.
Grape and raspberry drink is such a refreshing crowd-pleaser. I make my own from my own grapes and raspberries. But I like to know about alternatives -- and expanders for when I don't have enough to go around -- when schedules are tight and some just prefer that canned, soda-drink taste.
Would they happen to make a light-colored mix of red raspberry and white grape?
